Handgun Trigger Preparation
Proper trigger preparation can make a drastic improvement to your shooting speed and accuracy. The amount of trigger slack differs with each handgun, shown in this GTC Training slide is a stock (picture 4) Smith & Wesson M&P VTAC.
Picture 1) Prior to your shot, take the trigger slack out of your handgun.
Picture 2) M&P handgun with the trigger slack “taken up” at its “trigger wall” prior to the shot.
